Jenny Sorensen, M.A. is an LPC in the State of Texas, supervised by Julia Wolf, LPC. Jenny is in the process of completing her certification as a sex addiction therapist (CSAT Candidate) from the International Institute of Trauma and Addiction Professionals founded by Dr. Patrick Carnes, a pioneer in the field of sexual addiction recovery.
During her training, Jenny was exposed to and became passionate about Pia Mellody’s model of childhood trauma and developmental immaturity.
She and her husband, Doug, offer workshops using the PIT model in their work with men and women seeking recovery from sex and love addiction.
