The following helping professionals are members of the Healing Trauma Network and have completed the Post Induction Training, Inner Child Intensive and Feelings Reduction Intensive or the equivalent and are actively using this model to aid clients to heal from relational trauma. Some members have also completed the Couples Boundary Training Workshop and are actively using the Couples Boundary work developed by Pia Mellody in their private practices.

Charlie Risien holds a Master's Degree in Addiction Studies and is a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor, an Advanced Addiction Counselor, a Certified Multiple Addiction Therapist, a Certified Criminal Justice Addiction Professional in the state of Texas and a Somatic Experience Level I Practitioner. She is a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist and Supervisor and has worked and trained with Dr. Patrick Carnes on his task-based model at The International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals. Ms. Risien has received extensive training in Pia Mellody's Post Induction Therapy model of love addiction/love avoidance and codependence, as well as in Terry Real's relational couples intensive work at the Relational Life Institute. She has conducted numerous workshops and intensives based on all of these ground-breaking models.

Ms. Risien is an active member of the Society for the Advancement of Sexual Health (SASH) and of the Texas Association for Addiction Professionals (TAAP). She regularly presents and trains at conferences and workshops for TAAP and for The Meadows Lecture Series.

Ms. Risien developed the out-patient program for the Alcohol Rehabilitation Center of Bexar County in San Antonio, Texas. She is a co-founder of The Women's Journey, a conference for AA and Al-Anon women, which has met annually for 17 years. She has been invited as an expert guest speaker on numerous talk radio programs in Texas to discuss addiction-related topics.

Ms. Risien has been a therapist in private practice for 15 years in San Antonio, Texas, where she assists clients with their addiction and co-dependency issues. Once a month, she leads a week-long co-dependency workshop at the Pinegrove Treatment Center in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Ms. Risien has a new relationship 911 intensive therapy workshop at Pinegrove for couples to look at improving their intimacy skills as well as empathy for trauma survived in the past.

Ms. Risien is also a Somatic Experiencing (SEP) , Body and Somatic Experiencing (BASE) practitioner and does Brainspotting.
